Gabe's mom and dad got the boot from the hospital today :( Apparently there are other people that plan on being born today.
Gabe has the following prayer requests:
1) That he takes his 2nd blood transfusion well.
2) That the medication they are starting closes his PDA
Medication is administered over 3 days (google: infant PDA)
3) That the change out of his air tube goes well
4) Overall health and well being - including his Mom.

ReplyDeleteI will definitely keep praying for you guys and your beautiful bundle of joy. Shannon, your WHOLE class is praying for you all. I saw Olivia Sunday night and the first words out of her mouth were "How's Mrs. Rittgers and her baby?" So, I filled her and her mom in.
Anyway... let me know if you guys need any help with anything! I am right around the "corner". I'm not sure what is going on with the move... but if you need help with wrapping and apcking and moving... the Suburban and I can help. Just let me know.

You will always be in our prayers. I know it may be hard to have to leave Gabe, but hopefully it will get easier for you guys. We will be praying that he grows faster than expected and can come home ASAP!! We are glad your home and looking forward to helping you in ANY way possible
