Shannon's routine baby checkup scheduled for 4:15 PM on 5/21/o9 quickly changed from ordinary to extraordinary.
Not long into the visit Shannon was transfered to Overland Park Regional Hospital for a 24 hour observation that within an hour was changed to an Emergency C Section.
Gabe arrived at 7:54 PM on 5/21/09 weighing in at 1 lb 11 oz and 13.5" long.

Oh my goodness, how many weeks was sweet Gabe when he was born? You must be so anxious to have him home and healthy. God is faithful and know everyday He will give Gabe the strength to pass another milestone. Our family is praying for you. Thank you for sending me your link, I had no idea you guys were expecting! What a joy a child brings to your life. Congratulations in the midst of the stress you are enduring now.
ReplyDeleteGabe was born at 26 weeks (gestational age). His due date was 8/22/09, but due to severe preeclampsia needed to be born early.
